follow me

mute geniuses

They say..

Love is loving the way you get to be yourself around that other person.
Love is when you like a person because of who he is inside (deeper, not just 'inside the pants'),not because of his accomplishments, of what he has.
Love is when you want that person to be happy, even if by doing so, it's not keeping you happy.
Love is when you hold back those foul words and manners you've been accustomed to just because the other person finds it disturbing.
Love is when you changed for the better, even if no one is asking you too.
Love is, respecting her space and privacy.
Love is, respecting her friends and family, even if you don't like them.
Love is, respecting her needs and interests, no matter how silly they sound to you.
Love is after all, respecting and acknowledging the differences.

Love is not forcing the person to change against his will.
Love is not holding back the person from doing things that keep him happy

Your love can't stop her from caring for her friends and family.
Your love can't stop her hunger and enthusiasm for life.
Your love can't make her hates those things she loves doing.

Even her love for you can't stop her from doing all those things.
You may be the love of her love, her one and only,
you may even be the ONLY thing that occupies her heart;
even those can't stop her from being herself,
as no one is owned by anyone else.
not husbands, not friends, not even parents.

If it's really love, stop giving her such a hard time.
She has the free will to choose her own course of actions
Don't expect her to change, unless you want her miserable.
Love should never be mixed up with possessiveness.
If so, there has never been 'love' in the first place.

I could go on and on with the list, more as a note to self,
but it is all just common sense, really. Too common that people just forget about them.
Ownership, makes you feel good about yourself, especially the feelings of owning a person, to be able to keep her/him as an ornamental object.
When will we learn? When it's already too late, after the pretty thing has already withered into something plain and ugly, then only you'd wish for her to be like the first time u knew her ; passionate and full of life.
Pastu mula la carik lain, cari barang yang lagi baik, sebab yang lama dah rosak, walaupun sendiri yang rosakkan

On the contrary, I've been tagged by asni:
- Go to this website @ http://www.popculturemadness.com/Music/
- On the left side, choose the year you turn 18, click.
- Get yourself nostalgic over the songs of the year.
- Write something about how those songs affected you.
- Pass it on to 5 or more friends of yours.

Songs from the year I turned 18, well, none were that significant, at least to me. Pakcik pakcik seperti the RHCP, the Rolling Stone (tidak dilupakan tommy lee hehe) juga yang masih menjadi pojaan hatikuh. But nway, unlike the rest yang tak menjawab soalan(ceh tukar topik sume), for asni, here goes my list of fav :

1. I'm A Believer - Smash Mouth
because I love the movie shrek. Also, I was a non-believer until I met, who else.. cikikuh, weeee!!!
Like a friend told me back then, I was a 'floater', I didn't let myself be too close to anyone else, and vice versa.
So, tepuk tangan semua untuk cikikuh, :D (poyo tak poyo, sumerang dibenarkan buat muka hamlau skarang, hahahha)

2. Follow Me - Uncle Cracker
A consolation, that everything would be alright, no matter how fucked up you are, there's hope.

3. Angel - Shaggy
Reminds me of this friend with a big smile. A very nice person, a friend for keep, but I think I drove this friend away. My bad.

4. It's My Life - Bon Jovi
I'm a fan. Pakcik bon jovi rocks!!

Alrighty then.

So long, farewell, I bid to say goodbye (sambil menyanyi kegumbiraan, sambil berlalu pergi)

Have a nice day. Cheers
